ARCOLA PAINT AND PLANT, April 30th-May 2nd, 2004 |
15 Women from Arcola United Methodist Church came to Camp Highroad the weekend of April 30- May 2 and contributed significantly towards preparing the camp for the summer and adding to its beauty. The ladies painted the boys' showers as well as outside trim and applied an additional coat of paint on the outside walls. They also planted a new hedgerow at Oak Lodge and worked on the 9-11 memorial garden. It was not all work though and time was spent sharing with each other, worshipping together and some time just hiking out trails and enjoying God's creation. Our sincere thanks for their help.
