The spacious kitchen is fully equipped and the industrial sized stove makes cooking for a large group a breeze. A campfire ring located nearby enables you to end the day with group songs, story telling and a chance to reflect on the day’s activities. Or maybe you would like to end the day with a hayride and then fix some s’mores at the fire ring. Whatever your choice, Pine Lodge is the perfect way for youth to share together in God’s glory.
Groups must have a minimum of 16 paying persons. Groups should bring their own bedding, pillow and pillowcases, towels and soap. Groups may prepare their own meals in the kitchen, which is fully equipped with cooking, serving, and cleaning utensils. Camp Highroad can provide food service if Oak Lodge or the Summer Dining Hall is in operation. Meals will be served at 8:00 a.m., 12:00 noon and 5:30 p.m. and will be brought to Pine lodge by Highroad staff.
Cleanup instructions are posted in the Lodge so that groups can help maintain the building. Those using the kitchen facilities are expected to leave dishes and utensils ready for use by the next group. Bring paper towels. Groups eating meals in one of the dining halls are expected to assist in setting up tables and cleaning up, including sweeping the floor following each meal. |
