Amy Hemenway, M.Ed.
Amy holds three master's degrees in education, specializing in Educational Leadership, Special Education, and Counseling. She is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, strategic planning, safety, and mission alignment.

I would like to share with you what I am most passionate about: Faith in Jesus Christ and horsemanship. I've dedicated over 30 years to Christian Camping, blending Spiritual growth with nature’s beauty. As a certified riding instructor ( CHA , AHOC), I cherish the art of horsemanship, teaching with a heart and purpose. My journey is all about empowering others to connect deeply-with both their and the land beneath their hoofs.
On a personal note, my life’s foundation is equally strong and cherished. I have been happily married for 37 years to Christine, my childhood sweetheart, whose partnership and encouragement have been a constant source of strength and joy. Together, we share a deep appreciation for the values that Christian Camping instills and the unique community it fosters.

Heidi Koleszar
My name is Heidi Koleszar, and I am a CHA and AOHC certified instructor here at camp highroad. My Highroad career started as a programs team member in 2024, and moved to the horse program in 2025! I started learning to ride here, and fell in love with horses and western culture. Getting to teach kids the technique and fun of riding is my dream job! Sharing the love of Jesus through equine is such a special opportunity that has grown and shaped me greatly.

Barn Staff / Riding Instructor
Cassandra Good
Hi, my name is Cassandra. I am CHA and AOHC certified, as well as a USHJA Credentialed Instructor. I have been riding for nearly 20 years and have experience across a variety of disciplines, including riding and competing at multiple levels.
I currently own and operate my own barn, where I train young horses and riders to develop their skills, confidence, and horsemanship as they prepare to show and compete. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge, experience, and love for horses with my students while creating an environment where they can grow both as riders and individuals.
I am honored to combine my love for teaching with my faith in Jesus, encouraging my students not only in their riding journey but also in their walk with the Lord. My goal is to help each student grow in confidence, character, and faith while building a strong foundation in horsemanship.
