Program and Support Staff
Multiple Part Time Positions
Program staff provide part-time and seasonal support to Camp Highroad by facilitating
structured outdoor adventure programs and assisting with guest hospitality and food service.
They report to the Program and Outdoor Education Manager and play an essential role in
ensuring a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment for all guests.
Qualifications:
● An active faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to see all come to know and grow in Him
● Eagerness to learn, grow, and progress to more complex responsibilities
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a desire to work as part of a team
● Experience working with children, youth, or group programming
● Physical ability to handle demanding schedules and long days
● Willingness to work evenings and weekends
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
● Experience with outdoor adventure activities is welcomed but not required; training is
provided (challenge courses, high ropes, zip line, rock climbing, canoeing, archery,
mountain boarding, etc.).
● Background in food service, hospitality, or guest services
General Responsibilities:
● Work with full-time staff to deliver programs, following disciplined training and safety objectives
● Work with children, youth, and adults to achieve the objectives of programs and activities
● Set up and clean up program and activity equipment
● Provide food service support including preparing, service, and cleaning
● Clean facilities including lodges, cabins, and common areas (vacuuming, sweeping,
sanitation wipe-down, window cleaning, and mopping)
● Support the Facilities Manager with general maintenance and care of facilities and
grounds
● Assist with hospitality needs to ensure a welcoming environment for guests
Evaluation and Benefits:
Part time position for seasonal support.
Effective Date: Immediately
Reports to: Program and Outdoor Education Manager
Work Schedule: Part-time, flexible; weekdays, weekends, and some holidays
